Claudia’s exploration of her own well-being, as well as her family’s well-being, humanity’s, and the planet’s as a whole, inspired her to ask a big question: "How can I make more sustainable choices that positively impact my life and all around me?” Her answers led to her discovery of an approach that she calls “Whole Well Being.”

The 3R´s

A foundational aspect of the Whole Well Being, a method that Claudia Flores uses almost every day.

She calls it the 3 R’s: Research, Reflect, and Respond.

"Whole Well Being is not a state to be achieved, but rather a wave to surf. We can enjoy the highs and cooperate with the inevitable falling. We can love ourselves even when we swim against the current. By loving all aspects of ourselves we can transcend our challenges into a state of Grace. Just like in surfing, those seconds on top of the board are worth the discipline it requires. Grace is a habit you can integrate into your every day life.”

Whole Well-BeinG: Where caregivers thrive in Body, Mind, and Spirit.

How do you take care of yourself with love and compassion when things are hard and complicated?

And as you’re taking care of yourself, how can you also support the health and well-being of your family, loved ones, communities, humanity as a whole, and the planet?

As caregivers of children, families, humanity, and the planet, it’s easy to get sucked up in the storm, stress, discouragement, overwhelm, and pressure of it all. Unfortunately, this creates even more depletion of our own resources and health.

But there is a hidden opportunity in all of this—to learn better ways to be with and take care of ourselves, so we are more able to support others and the world at a time when our help is most needed. How do we reside and live in joy, peace, and health in today’s challenges?

Whole Well Being is an open invitation to Research, Reflect, and Respond to make more sustainable choices not only for ourselves, but for all.

The intention of this approach is for us to enhance our awareness of the whole, as well as our capacity to effectively respond to it, in service to:

  • Gaining awareness of areas within us that require our care

  • Being a nurturing presence for ourselves

  • Satisfying our own authentic needs

  • Enhancing our ability and capacity to be present and available to others

What are you doing today to enhance your well-being?

The opportunity is to get to know and love yourself in all ways.

“Let us consider comprehensive well-being at the individual level as a butterfly effect; taking care of ourselves and integrating ourselves is the most powerful contribution; if each one of us assumes that responsibility, we are generating, integrating and leading and integrating well-being at all levels of our human experience, weaving well-being for our families and so on for humanity and the planet”.
