research
For 3 consecutive years, we traveled with Vena Cava (HSP Previous Project) for a week in a summer immersive program with 6 to 8 families exploring the indigenous way of living. We fully immersed ourselves in the everyday practices as we participated in tailored-made workshops about indigenous medicine, the Maya language, and even a soccer tournament.

reflect
As a result of this encounter, we built a clinic for the indigenous women in Chemax, Yucatan. We maintain a close relationship with the Cooperativa Uh NAhil Uj Nahil Ek Balam.
Currently, we have a pilot program based on Research, Reflect, and Respond with the 8th graders at Crossroads. We provided access to the SIMA documentary SDGs playlist as well as reflective material to engage at a more personal level in the context of the many different humanitarian issues we face.
