RESEARCH

  1. What am I aware of? 

  2. What do I wish was different?

  3. What am I learning from this situation? 


REFLECT

  1. What aspect of me is upset?

  2.  In what ways can I bring understanding, acceptance, and compassion to that part inside of me? 

  3. Looking through the eyes of love and compassion, NOW how do I see myself? Are the other people involved? The situation itself?


RESPOND

  1. Given my abundant strengths and abilities, what creative choices could be effective responses?

  2. Which one(s) would best support me (self—individual level)? 

  3. Which one(s) would best support others involved (family, humanity, planet—collective level)?


How to set yourself up for success with Micro Steps: Be specific about how you will do it, when, and where. If possible, map this new behavior onto something you already do regularly such as brushing your teeth daily, taking out the trash weekly, etc.
